Study System

Built around how the exam is actually structured

Coverage across core toxicology, organ systems, ICH/OECD guidances, and the ABT top-300 pharmacology list — with the engine paying closest attention to what you keep missing.

FLASH CARDS

Flip, star, and listen

Flip-animated cards with text-to-speech on either side, and a starred-cards shelf pulled from every category.

QUIZ

Instant right/wrong feedback

Multiple-choice quizzes per category with immediate color-coded feedback, so mistakes register while the reasoning is still fresh.

ADAPTIVE

Global Pop Quiz

Pulls your weakest questions across every category — accuracy under 70% — worst first, with a direct link back to the study section that fixes it.

DASHBOARD

A readiness score, not just a percentage

Coverage, accuracy, and mastery combine into one number, backed by a category chart and quiz trend line.

MOCK EXAM

Timed board simulation

25, 50, or 100-question mock exams, weighted 70% toward your weak spots, with a category-by-category breakdown after.

READ ALOUD

Built-in text-to-speech

Tap any section to have it — and everything after it — read aloud, so you can study away from the screen.

Inside the App

Everything lives in one offline library

Open the app and every category is already there — no sync, no login screen, no waiting on a connection during an exam-week study session.

  • 01 Core toxicology, organ systems, and specialty topics — from mechanism of toxicity through ecotoxicology and forensic toxicology.
  • 02 Full ICH/OECD guidance coverage, from S1A carcinogenicity through M4 common technical document sections.
  • 03 A dedicated Top-300 pharmacology bank, organized by drug class.
  • 04 Personal notes saved per category, plus a random-facts deck for odd-moment review.

Privacy

Your study data never leaves your phone

Lethal Dose was built offline-first on purpose — there's no account to create and no server to trust.

No accounts

Nothing to sign up for. Install the app and your local library is ready — no email, no password, no verification step.

No data collection

Quiz history, notes, and progress are stored locally in an on-device database. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.

No internet required

Every category, question, and flash card ships inside the app. Study on a plane, in a basement lab, wherever.

Certification Fit

Built for the DABT exam. Useful well beyond it.

Lethal Dose is built directly against the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) certification blueprint — that's the app's primary use case. The core toxicology and regulatory content also overlaps meaningfully with a few adjacent certifications, and can serve as helpful supplementary review for graduate coursework in toxicology-adjacent degree programs, though the app isn't tailored to any specific exam format or curriculum.

ABAT — American Board of Applied Toxicology

Applied toxicology practice draws on the same mechanism-of-toxicity, risk assessment, and biotransformation fundamentals covered across Lethal Dose's core categories.

ERT — European Registered Toxicologist

Shares the same general toxicology foundation, though ERT's regulatory framework differs from the ICH/FDA-oriented guidance content in the app.

RAC — Regulatory Affairs Certification

The app's ICH and OECD guidance categories (M3, M4, Q3 series, OECD 408/413) touch directly on regulatory toxicology topics relevant to RAC, though RAC spans far more than toxicology alone.

Also a useful supplementary study aid for graduate coursework in toxicology-heavy degree programs — MS/MSc in Toxicology, MPH with environmental or occupational health focus, PharmD, and DVM/veterinary toxicology tracks — where the same core mechanisms and regulatory frameworks are covered.

Not a substitute for board-specific prep materials or degree-program curricula — offered as helpful overlap, not an endorsement or affiliation.

Start closing the gaps before exam day.

Lethal Dose is built for board candidates — not a general reference, a study system with a score attached to it.
